Mountains as a Privilege
Despite all the adventures, I continue to work as a physician and consider it a great privilege to combine my two passions – medicine and mountaineering. As a mountain guide, it is important to me to share my enthusiasm for the mountains and to introduce you to the mountains of my homeland.

From the Lowlands to the Mountains
Although I grew up in the flat eastern part of Austria, my passion for the mountains took hold of me early on. After intense years of sport climbing in the east, I was drawn to higher altitudes following my medical studies – more precisely, to Innsbruck. The city in the heart of the Alps was love at first sight for me: ski touring in fresh powder in the morning, sport climbing in the sun in the afternoon – where else can you do that?

Medicine & Mountains – Two Passions
After completing my training, I work as a general practitioner. The path to becoming a state-certified mountain and ski guide was almost predetermined for me. Innsbruck not only offers a perfect home but also an ideal starting point – whether for quick tours nearby or bigger ventures in the Dolomites or Western Alps.
