Zuckerhüttel – Roof Top of Stubai Alps

Beschreibung

The Zuckerhütl (3,507 m), the highest peak in the Stubai Alps, is a majestic summit with a moderate level of challenge. Its elegant snow pyramid towers high above the Sulzenauferner and, with the help of the cable car, can be reached comfortably in a single day. From the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views stretching all the way to the Dolomites and deep into the Central Alps. This tour is technically of moderate difficulty and is the perfect introduction to the world of 3,000-meter peaks and glacier mountaineering.
If, due to melting in late summer, the main summit is no longer accessible, the western summit — only seven meters lower and marked by a summit Madonna — offers an absolutely equivalent alternative without any rockfall risk!
