Mountain Guide aka the Doctor
The Mountains as a privilege - Despite all my mountain adventures, I continue to work as a doctor and consider it a great privilege to be able to combine my two passions—medicine and mountaineering. As a mountain guide, I am committed to sharing my enthusiasm for the mountains and introducing you to the world love so much..
From the flats to the mountains - Although I grew up in the flat east of Austria, I was drawn to the mountains right away. After several years of intense sport climbing around Vienna, I way pulled towards bigger goals. Once I had completed my medical studies — I moved to the heart of the Alps, more precisely, to Innsbruck. It was love at first sight for me: skitouring in untouched powder in the morning, sport climbing in the sun in the afternoon – where else can you do that? Innsbruck is not only the place I'm glad to call home, but offers an ideal base — whether for quick outings nearby or bigger adventures in the Dolomites or the Western Alps.
