Basic Avalanche Search and Rescue Training

Our avalanche course for beginners is ideal if you’re looking for a concise, practical introduction. You’ll gain an overview of the latest beacon technology and new strategies in avalanche search and rescue. After a brief theory lesson, we’ll head straight to the training area, where we’ll familiarise ourselves with the avalanche beacons and run through various realistic search scenarios.

You can look forward to a range of training scenarios, helpful tips and a safe start to the winter season!

And of course, all winter sports enthusiasts are very welcome: snowboarders, ski tourers, freeriders, snowshoe hikers… anyone who wants to be safer out and about!
