Fußstein 3380m

This classic route from Walter Pause’s collection “im Extremen Fels” offers perfect granite in a spectacular high mountain landscape and stands up well to comparison with famous routes in the Western Alps. The climbing is consistently challenging and varied without ever becoming extremely difficult, and the panoramic views are breathtaking. The Fußstein (3,380 m) is the middle peak of the “Dreigestirn” (Olperer-Fußstein-Schrammacher). Its granite walls, which are particularly steep from the north, make for a truly special summit experience!
